We would like to recognize Andrew Helgeson for his dedication to continuous improvement! Those of us who’ve worked at the several semiconductor campuses around the world know that its challenging to come close to our install rates on “traditional projects”. This is primarily due to safety protocol, (and we’re all about being safe) congestion of work areas, and of course not impacting the products being produced. The estimated install rate on Andrew’s project was 23 hours per 100’ of installed branch conduit. With the utilization of prefab, solid detailing, and good old-fashioned planning, Andrew and team rang in with a savings of 10 hours per 100’ of branch conduit, (bringing the install rate to 13 hours/100’). Congrats to Andrew for hitting this one out of the park!
